👁 You Cannot Hide From God

Jonah didn’t just flee. He paid to flee.
He found a ship, paid the fare, and went to sleep—twice in the same verse it says: “from the presence of the Lord.”
But you can’t hide from God. And trying will cost you.

🌾 The Seed : Obedience

“You cannot run from the Spirit of the Lord. You cannot run from the Word of the Lord.”

Even if you’re silent, your disobedience speaks. Jonah’s refusal to answer God's call caused calamity—not just for him, but for everyone around him.

📖 The Word

Psalm 139:7–10 says:

“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence?… Even there Your hand will lead me.”

Whether you're on the run or asleep in sin, God sees you. And He still calls you.

🧠 The Shift

Neuroscience shows that suppressing truth (aka hiding) activates stress circuits in the limbic system—especially the hippocampus and amygdala—leading to confusion, fatigue, and emotional shutdown.
But truth-telling reactivates the prefrontal cortex—where clarity, decision-making, and courage live.
