đ You Cannot Hide From God
Jonah didnât just flee. He paid to flee.
He found a ship, paid the fare, and went to sleepâtwice in the same verse it says: âfrom the presence of the Lord.â
But you canât hide from God. And trying will cost you.
đŸ The Seed : Obedience
âYou cannot run from the Spirit of the Lord. You cannot run from the Word of the Lord.â
Even if youâre silent, your disobedience speaks. Jonahâs refusal to answer God's call caused calamityânot just for him, but for everyone around him.
đ The Word
Psalm 139:7â10 says:
âWhere can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence?⊠Even there Your hand will lead me.â
Whether you're on the run or asleep in sin, God sees you. And He still calls you.
đ§ The Shift
Neuroscience shows that suppressing truth (aka hiding) activates stress circuits in the limbic systemâespecially the hippocampus and amygdalaâleading to confusion, fatigue, and emotional shutdown.
But truth-telling reactivates the prefrontal cortexâwhere clarity, decision-making, and courage live.

đ The Build
Ask yourself:
What instruction from God have I tried to ignore or outrun?
Write it down.
Then write this under it:
âI hear You. Iâm done hiding.â
đ The Speak
âI am always in the presence of God. I am always loved by God. I am always taken care of by God. And I am obedient to the voice and Spirit of God.â
